Joanna Janikowska is a film director and editor.
She graduated from Warsaw University’s Individual Studies in the Humanities.
Her debut documentary “Comrades” won the Visegrad Award Special Mention at the 2024 Jihlava IDFF.
She's currently working on her new documentary feature "Isabella" (scheduled for release in 2026).
The project won the East Silver Market Award and was a finalist in the prestigious Premio Solinas screenwriting competition.
She collaborated with Polish Television, Chopin Institute, Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Caritas Poland ed altra.
